I have a bottle of visine a.c. (allergy control) that has an expiration date of march 2003...safe to use?

your eye is the most resilient organ in your body and is the fastest to heal...visine was made specifically for the eyes so its worth the risk to try using it..if it does not work the first time or you are bothered by its effects stop using it and your eyes should be able to recover without a problemI have a bottle of visine a.c. NOOOOO.... That is why there is an expiration date. It means get rid of it. You have one pair of eyes. I amsure you can get another bottle of Visine.
It's not safe for sure .. Just simply throw it even if u haven't opened it!!
No it is not safe to use not even within its use by date. Do you know that the ingredient Boric Acid is used in visine. I would not even put it on my skin let alone put the stuff in my eyes.
I'd throw it out..just in case. Probably, the expiration would render it ineffective...but you never know what can happen in a bottle with chemicals. Maybe call the manufacturer? It is three years past it's prime....
No! It's not safe to use! They might hurt your eyes, or do nothing at all. Don't take the chance...you can't get your vision back.
Generally speaking, a new bottle of visine is cheaper than a new pair of eyes.

Why take the risk? Particularly if the product may no longer work.
I would get rid of it. They have expiration dates for a reason. It may not work as well for you now.
If it is outdated I trow it away; but check with your Pharmacist they are always ready to give free Advise.
