I agree with james- the lesser known brands may appear to be a good value, but frequently have substandard components, and are difficult to find parts for, as james correctly stated. The traxxas T-Maxx probably has the most widely available parts, and excellent customer support. I have used their support several times, as well as the info on their site to set up their products for racing. You should also consider the Duratrax Warhead evo, Associated MGT, and Losi Aftershock or LST. Tower Hobbies sells all of the above, with the exception of the Losi trucks, but you should consider checking out your local hobby shop, as it is in your best interest to keep their doors open, and see what they stock parts for. If you want a monster truck, you need to realize that YOU ARE GOING TO BREAK STUFF, so being able to get replacement parts should be a factor when deciding which truck to go with. Another great idea is to talk to people who frequent the hobby shop or race moster trucks locally to get their opinions.I'm looking to buy a Infinitive Monster Truck 1:10 Nitro Gas Off Road Remote Control R/C Car. is it good?
Its a good model.
Try tower hobbies...They sometime deep discount.I'm looking to buy a Infinitive Monster Truck 1:10 Nitro Gas Off Road Remote Control R/C Car. is it good?
If I were you I would go for something with a more well known brand name, which will be easier to get spares for.
I imagine that it will be hard to get spares for that truck, and you dont want to break 1 part and not be able to run it again.
Look for something made by Hpi/traxxas/ofna or any of the well known companies.
try sites like http://www.rcuniverse.com for suggestions.
