~i'm thinkin of going to radio shack %26amp; getting some cheaper similiar resistor(s) and just re-soldering the circuits... no more then $10 and 30min give or take....Ref: Why does my a/c climate control fan only work on high? what can i do innexpensive?
You will not find the proper resistors at Radio Shack. Theirs can not carry the amp loading of the blower motor. You can go to a local salvage yard and find a resistor pack from a car like yours. Most salvage yards will guarantee that it will work. I picked one up for my van for $15.00. Ref: Why does my a/c climate control fan only work on high? what can i do innexpensive?
it would help to know what kind of car you are working on but most blower motor resistors are only about 20 to 30 dollars any way and they carry a fairly high amperage. usually they are in the blower motor box to allow air to cool them down they have 2 bolts that hold them in follow the wires back from your blower motor and they should lead you to it
fan motor is bad. my woman has an 05 colbalt that setting 3 don't work but 1 2 4 work fine.
