if so how?Is there any way to use the win-xp control panel on my C: drive to remove programs from my D: drive?
Regardless of what drive the program is on, there are many programs that are not configured to add themselves to the add/remove program list. It is generally the accepted/standard practice for most commercial/professional software, but it's not a forced requirement and there are many programmers who do not add support for it in their software.
Check the folder with the application and see if there is an uninstaller.exe or something to that effect. Sometimes you can also run the original installer again to get a 'remove' option. Is there any way to use the win-xp control panel on my C: drive to remove programs from my D: drive?
XP control panel comes with your xp installation and it is already installed on your C drive if you have windows installed in C drive. ';Add or Remove Programs'; helps you to remove programs installed on any drive.
