well. i know what you mean, i could fix that easily for you. but thats the problem i can't. i could explain. but takes forever to explain. And you need to know somethings. wish i could be of more help.
Try to log in through Safe mode with network support and update ur an anti virus software, if still problem persist then re install windows XP. Even still u cant fix the issue then format and install XP on it
