On the Sims 2 Double Deluxe im trying to do the Control, shift, C thing and the box to type cheats in isnt....?

I have The Sims 2 Double Deluxe game for PC and when i try to use the cheat codes.. i press Control+Shift+C and the box that you type the codes into doesnt show. As far as i know that it the only way to get the cheat box up. Maybe its because ur accidentally pressing the 'c' key before the others. Hold the shift and control buttons first and then press c. It should work then.

If you are pressing the control, shift and c keys and it doesn't work, I have read on Yahoo Answers that it could be because there may be another program on your computer that may use those same keys. Here is a link that might help just in case: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
If it only takes a picture that means that you're not holding all the buttons down through the whole process. C button is a short cut for taking pictures. Do it one finger at a time. Control, Shift, and C while holding them all down.

You need to press Ctrl then Shift then C, holding each one after you press it. It should work. I have Double Deluxe and it works for me. As far as I know, that is the only way to bring the cheat box up.
