just replace one wire at a time, it should have a schematic on the side of the cover should you get lost, turn off the power and discharge the high voltage capasitor's by grounding to the unit frameHow hard to install control board on carrier a/c 58pav090?
the board is not very hard to change...you should be able to do this yourself...just be careful and make sure you get wires in the correct place.....before you change board you need to make sure you have control power coming to unit 24 volts on the red and yelow wires...there is a lot of other items that could keep outside unit from working...low freon pressure switch...bad contactor...
