Well, I had two periods already but they were light and even shorter than when I was on the pill. Is this normal? Anyone else experienced this?
I don't think I am pregnant as I we are using condom and also I just saw my ob/gyn couple of weeks ago.I stopped taking b/c control pills at end of August and expected my periods to become longer and heavier?
After you stop taking the pill, there maybe some adjustments your body has to get use to. Your period should go back to the way it used to before you started taking the pill after awhile. Unless you have been taking the pill for many years. With the age factor in count. If you had heavy flow when you were in your teens, then it should lighten up a little when you are in your twenties and up. Next time you see your ob/gyn ask her about it.I stopped taking b/c control pills at end of August and expected my periods to become longer and heavier?
Taking birth control does regulate your period, but when you get off of the pill your period will return to how it was before you started taking it. so if you have similar periods before you were on the pill then yes it is normal. if not, go see a doc, could be a number of things, including stress
