I turned off my central a/c from the control panel, is it normal that air will still be coming out our vents?

If it is not blowing like when the air is on. You have a hole in the duct system somewhere.I turned off my central a/c from the control panel, is it normal that air will still be coming out our vents?
in the panel you have a double pole breaker for the condenser unit (outside unit) plus a single pole breaker for the indoor unit (your furnace/evaporator unit)I turned off my central a/c from the control panel, is it normal that air will still be coming out our vents?
At the control panel turn the fan to auto. For more info check out the thermostat page at my source.
Generally the A/C unit is on a separate circuit from the air handler or furnace
Possibly some units keep the fan on until the cooling coil warms a bit to extract all the cooling possible and save energy. It should shut down after a while unless you have set your thermostat setting to( fan on ) just set to( fan auto ) and it will cycle.
It is possible on most systems to turn the fan on manually. Look for a switch on your control panel labled ';Fan';. It should have at least 2 positions, ';Fan'; and ';Auto';. Put it on ';Auto'; or ';Off'; unless you like it running to circulate the un-cooled air.

Probably the circulating fan is independent.

It's used both for heating %26amp; cooling, %26amp; has a separate switch.
Check to see if you have a separate fan setting. You may have accidentally had that on and didn't know it.
Did you turn off the fan as well? Most units have a seperate switch for the circulating fan.
You turned off the power to the out side portion. A central AC split systems, the central heating is the other half and this is still calling for cooling an running the blower fan .
