My fan control switch will work on level 1,2,3,%26amp;4 but stops completely at five. Is this a problem in 2002 Chevy Silverado's or do I just have a bad switch? How hard is it to change and how much does the switch cost? Why did my A/C control switch on the dash board in 2002 Silverado quit working on fan level five?
It's most likely the switch. I don't recall them being that g=hard to change. You could go to a wrecking yard and get one. Even a new one can't be over $40. Could it?
