Sounds like the blower motor resistor. The first three settings of the fan go thru resistors. Each resistor (all in one part) has less resistance than the next allowing more power to get thru which in turn allows the fan to blow at faster and faster speeds. The fourth setting or HI does not run thru the resistor and has a direct feed direct from the 12V batt. So if the resistors shot you'll still get power to the fourth(HI) setting.A/c control on Jeep Liberty only works on high setting, others settings like off?
I have a GM that had the same problem. It was the fan relay. Should be the same problem.
