The cheat box will not come up please help me.I just got the sims 2 deluxe and i am pressing down shift control c all at the same time but it is not working?
you are pressing the correct keys. It may be that ctrl+ shift+ C has been assigned as to another program. Try entering it when you are not playing Sims and see if some other program opens. You may have to change the shortcut keys, explained here

The game doesn't have to be on pause.
Most likely, your screen resolution is too big and the cheat box is off screen. Try changing it in the game's options menu, or change your display size in Windows Control Panel.
Are you sure the keyboard is working are the game is configured for that?
hmm.. try doing it in the order ctrl shift c and see if that helps. otherwise, not sure
You have to have game on Pause :))
