Whats making a rattle noise from A/C control unit?

On my 04 300M I hear a loud rattle noise coming from the Automatic Climate Control unit. The noise is loudest when its cold outside and when I make a sharp left turn; but it also dissipates when making a right turn. I'm guessing a small fan inside the unit because it will stop when the engine is shut off. I can also change the sound/frequency of the rattle by pushing on the control unit. The noise is incredibly annoying and I want to fix it my-self if possible.Whats making a rattle noise from A/C control unit?
It really sounds like the blower motor bearing is going out. I fit rattles the try turning off the fan. If it stops, then it's the blower motor.

Sounds like you fan motor or fan wheel si loose on the fan motor shaft. tear that puppy out and get-r fixed. It's gettin cold out there.
